You might have heard the whispers, but it’s true! Here at BKB, we like to think of ourselves as more than just a climbing facility.
Consider us something of a hybrid space with a little bit of everything – from climbing and fitness to co-working and community. And we take each and every area as seriously as the next.
Our walls, whether they’re meant for climbing or gazing, tend to get most of the talk … and with good reason. Earlier this year, we invited a group of local and national graffiti and street artists to tag our walls. We’ll have a complete breakdown of that process soon. But in the meantime, we wanted to focus on the first piece of art most visitors see in our facility.
Created by Brooklyn Boulders’ Art Director, Caleb Freese, this architectural interpretation of the Chicago skyline is a loving tribute to the grit, the vastness and the history of Chicago.
