FITNESS AT BKB

BKB isn’t a one-trick pony, and neither are you.

We believe in shaking things up a bit. We believe in variety. And if variety is the spice of life, then BKB is like cayenne pepper. Or red pepper flakes. Whatever puts some pep in your step and gets you motivated, smiling, and ready for more.

We’re psyched about variety at BKB because we know we’re all capable of being badass at more than just one thing. That’s why we’ve intentionally designed all our workout classes to intersect with your love for yoga, climbing, cardio, strength training, and/or fitness. Our class schedule is here to help you amplify your overall sense of strength, balance, and wellness—because your goals won’t crush themselves.

YOGA BASICS

New (ish) to yoga? No problem. Our entry level yoga class will help you build a strong foundation of basic yoga poses. Together we will focus on breathwork, alignment, and internal heat to increase overall flexibility, strength, and mind-body connection.

YOGA FOR CLIMBERS

This is the perfect cross-training complement for those whose eyes are set on the vertical prize. Together we’ll flow from pose to pose while enhancing mobility, lower body strength, balance, and core. Challenge yourselfmentally and physicallyas you breathe through a balanced practice of deep stretching and strengthening. We’ll provide the matsjust come with with an open mind.

INTERMEDIATE YOGA

Intermediate yogadesigned for more experienced practitioners—brings an increased level of intensity that builds heat with progressions while moving into intermediate to advanced peak poses. In this class you can expect inversions, back bends, balancing poses, and more.

HIIT

(High-Intensity Interval Training): For a total body crush out, join us for HIIT—and be prepared to sweat. This class features a diverse combination of body weight exercises in an interval format to enhance strength, build muscle, and increase cardio endurance.

BOOTCAMP FOR CLIMBERS

Expect a well-rounded hour of partner-based power in Bootcamp for Climbers. This high-energy circuit conditioning class uses a blend of body weight movements alongside climbing and fitness equipment. The class is divided into stations focused on strength, stability, agility, and cardio, with an emphasis on climber-specific movements.

CLIMBER CORE

This mat-based classgeared specifically to the needs of a climber and anyone else looking to develop a monster corestrengthens your abs and back muscles for improved posture and performance (on and off the wall). Climber Core integrates concepts from pilates, yoga, and climbing into a circuit training program designed to help you build core endurance, stay healthy, and climb stronger.

Want to dive into all of our above classes at once, in a fun and oddly reminiscent way? 

This summer we invite you to skip the bar, ditch the couch, and come have fun with us for JOCK JAMS, a once-a-month fitness event running in June, July, and August at BKB. In each class we’ll work out to the greatest hits of the 80’s, 90’s, and 00’s—so bring a friend or join us solo as we celebrate pop culture, have a blast, and sweat through the decades together.

*Wearing era-specific fashion is encouraged as long as you are still able to work out!
