Hip Strength Fitness Workshop

A special workshop with David McManamon: “Starting with the feet and calves we’ll explore both subtle and explosive leg movements working our way into glute/ham strength and mobility along with balanced hip flexor and quad exercises.”

A special workshop with David McManamon: “Practitioners who follow these core exercises will notice they last longer in individual workouts, recover faster, move more efficiently and are less injury prone compared to peers who fail to condition their core.”

Shoulders Workshop
Thursday, March 31: 7 – 8:30 PM
“Exercises that train the shoulder as it was mean to be used building scapula strength in protraction, retraction, elevation and depression.  Although the shoulder is the most mobile joint in the body, imbalances and lack of proper mobility training often rob athletes of their potential mobility, the exercises introduced will lead to great strength and mobility and help relive joint pain due to imbalances.”

Our Name Is Farm Sustainability Seminar & Dinner

Join our discussion over a Middle Eastern dinner on Food Advocacy. We’ll be discussing on issues such as food waste, transparent sourcing, and urban farming. Hosted by Our Name is Farm in collaboration with Eco Practicum – learn how to advocate for a more sustainable and just food system.

Capoeira with Mirlet Auguste
Saturday, March 19: 10:30 – 12 PM
Capoeira blends dance, martial arts, and acrobatics into one beautiful art like no other. This ninety minute class will teach introductory capoeira movement, including warm-ups, basic moves (attack and defense), and basic acrobatics. Great for cardio and straightening core movements.
