What are your favorite candies to make? 
Favorite candies to make include anything with nuts: peanut brittle, toffee, divinity, chocolate truffles.
Why and when did you start making candies? 
I started experimenting with candies when I was in high school. I’ve always had a sweet tooth, and I thought it’d be a cool way to both avoid schoolwork and impress my peers…for the most part it was!
Where do you work now?
Currently, I cook and bake professionally at Haven’s Kitchen in Chelsea (an amazing cafe, recreational cooking school, and event space). Lately I’ve been getting into bread–making. It can be challenging, but I love repetition and figuring out the best way something can be made, so it’s a great fit really.
What are your secret holiday hacks? 
Baked goods- candy especially- is totally my go-to for gift giving. It fulfills two of my holiday goals: giving a thoughtful gift, and avoiding shopping!
